Fish stock

The original fish stock at Carptwenty exists of and hand full of mirror- and scale carp. These fish are real character fish that have been swimming in the lake for years. From 2016 onwards a start was made with releasing carp into the lake. About 50 beautifully drawn fish were set out by fish farm Vasterink®. In the early part of 2018, the release of 300 fish took place, supplied by CarpFarm®. These fish have the potential to become heavyweights in a relatively short period of time.

All carp at Carptwenty were selected by hand and registered when they were released. A sharp eye is kept on the growth and health of the fish by the company Carp Care®. In years to come more fish are planned to be released into the lake to create and ensure a big and diverse carp stock.

Besides carp, at Carptwenty we also have a unique predatory fish stock. Especially the bass that swim at Carptwenty are known to reach record weights on frequent occasions. In addition, there are also some large tenches swimming in our lake. Other types of whitefish are not present, which means you can also fish with smaller bait types.
